Abdullah Al Salem University (AASU) is a newly established English-medium public university in Kuwait. AASU is looking for experienced candidates to fill administrative and technical positions in the Information Systems and Digital Services Department.

Expectations, Essential Duties & Responsibilities

    • Maintaining computing devices.
    • Installing, configuring and maintaining applications.
    • Maintaining wired and wireless networks.
    • Securing the network and information systems.
    • Operating and maintaining telecommunication equipment, office phones and smartphones.
    • Operating and maintaining audio visual systems and teleconferencing systems.
    • Operating the attendance system.  ﾠ

Specific Requirements of Position

Diploma in one of the following disciplines:

  • Computer Maintenance
  • Computer Networks
  • Information Systems Security
  • Wired/Wireless Communication Systems, Office Phones and Smart Phones
  • Audio Visual Systems and Teleconferencing Systems

Fresh graduates and experienced professionals can both apply.

General Requirements of Department

      • Diplomas must have a rating of Very Good or higher from The Higher Institute of Telecommunication and Navigation or any institute run by the Public Authority for Applied Education and Training specializing in information technology or information systems. Graduates of private colleges inside Kuwait or any institution accredited by the Ministry of Higher Education or AASU can also apply.
      • Kuwaiti nationals, who are subject to the provisions of Law (20) of 2015 regarding national military service, must submit a certificate of performance of active service, or postponement, exception or exemption as applicable.
      • Minimum score of 75% in the oral assessment and English language proficiency exam.
      • Professional proficiency in Arabic and English.ﾠ
      • All academic qualifications must be authenticated by relevant official authorities as recognized by AASU.

Required Documents

      • Updated curriculum vitae.
      • Scanned copy of valid Civil ID card or image available through Kuwait Mobile ID app.
      • Scanned copy of valid passport.
      • Scanned copy of nationality certificate (for Kuwaitis).
      • Scanned copy of birth certificate.
      • Scanned copies of all professional certifications. 
      • Scanned copies of all degrees and transcripts (authenticated copies needed if application is successful).
      • Scanned copy of equivalency certificates from the Ministry of Higher Education in Kuwait for degrees obtained from an institution other than Kuwait University or Public Authority for Applied Education and Training (authenticated copies needed if application is successful).
      • Signed and authenticated copies of experience letters. 
      • Scanned copy of recent registration certificate from Public Institution for Social Security (PIFSS).
