Background

Abdullah Al Salem University (AASU) is seeking talented and forward-thinking professionals to join our Innovation and External Collaboration Section. We have multiple exciting opportunities which include:

  • System, Policy and Process Analyst
  • Organization Structure Specialist

  • Industry Liaison
  • Partnership Coordinator

The above roles are crucial in fostering innovation, enhancing organizational processes, and building strong external collaborations to advance the university’s mission.

Hiring priority, for the above roles, was for Kuwaiti nationals.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain relationships with industry partners to support university initiatives.
  • Identify and pursue opportunities for collaboration and partnership with industry.
  • Serve as a point of contact between the university and industry partners.
  • Facilitate internships, research projects, and other collaborative efforts.
  • Prepare reports and documentation on industry collaborations.   
     

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, engineering, IT, or any related field.
  • Experience in industry relations and partnership development.
  • Strong networking and relationship-building skills.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.
