Background

Abdullah Al Salem University (AASU) is a newly established English-medium public university in Kuwait. AASU is looking for experienced candidates to fill administrative and technical positions in the Inspections & Audits Department.

Specific Requirements of Position

  • Degree in Accounting, Law or Business Administration with a general rating of Very Good or higher.
  • At least 2 years of professional experience.  ﾠ

General Requirements of Department

  • Academic qualification with a general rating of Good or higher from Kuwait University, Public Authority for Applied Education and Training or any institution accredited by the Ministry of Higher Education.
  • Kuwaiti nationals, who are subject to the provisions of Law (20) of 2015 regarding national military service, must submit a certificate of performance of active service, or postponement, exception or exemption as applicable.
  • Previous experience in auditing and oversight roles will be given priority. 
  • Holders of professional certifications like Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) and Certified Public Accountant (CPA) will be preferred.
  • Proficiency in the use of MS Office (MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint and MS Outlook). 
  • Minimum score of 75% in the oral assessment.
  • Professional proficiency in Arabic and English.ﾠ

  • Scanned copy of equivalency certificates from the Ministry of Higher Education in Kuwait for degrees obtained from an institution other than Kuwait University or Public Authority for Applied Education and Training (authenticated copies needed if application is successful).
  • Signed and authenticated copies of experience letters. 
  • Scanned copy of recent registration certificate from Public Institution for Social Security (PIFSS).
