Background

Abdullah Al Salem University (AASU) is seeking dedicated and skilled professionals to join our Quality Assurance & Institutional Excellence Section. We have exciting opportunities for a Statistical Specialist, Data Analyst, and Quality Specialist. These roles are integral to our commitment to maintaining and enhancing the quality of our academic and administrative functions through accurate data analysis, quality management, and institutional excellence initiatives.

Hiring priority was for Kuwaiti nationals.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Collect, analyze, and interpret large datasets to inform strategic decisions.
• Develop and implement data collection systems and strategies.
• Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets.
• Prepare and present comprehensive reports to senior management and stakeholders.
• Work closely with IT and other departments to optimize data processes.   
   

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in data analytics, statistics, industrial engineering, or any related field.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., SQL, Python, Tableau).
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Experience in data mining and predictive modeling is a plus.
